Robert C. Freeby was born and raised on a farm in the Midwest. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While serving in the navy he was a member of the Underwater Demolition Seal team. In 1981 Robert relocated to the state of Washington where he received an Associates of Arts degree from North Seattle Community college and his Bachelor’s degree in Political science from Seattle University followed by his Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University.
From 1988 – 1994 Robert worked with the department of Assigned Counsel. In the early part of 1994 he went into private practice where he has remained ever since, with almost an exclusive concentration of all aspects of criminal defense.
Robert serves as Pro Tem as a judge in local municipal and district courts. As a former member of the U.S. Navy, he is always interested in helping veterans. He is also involved as a mentor in a community service Read to Me program that is dedicated to helping young kids read in elementary school.
